Astric Medical - Dry-bed wetting alarm NEW - still in the box.

I bought this to try it for my daughter after years of bed wetting but she is now dry so never used it in the end. It's still in its packaging and never been out of the box. It was ?108 new but only asking ?50 for it so absolute bargain. No offers please.

I have pasted the weblink below where I bought it from which explains all its features in detail.

Essentially, the Astric Dry-Bed bedwetting alarm is in two parts, an extremely sensitive control unit which uses the latest electronic techniques, and a light, comfortable detector pad which is placed over the mattress protector and sheet, then covered with a smaller sheet - flannelette would be ideal (draw-sheet).

As soon as the first few drops of urine touch the pad, the alarm emits a loud tone which will awaken the patient. There is a volume control and you can choose from 3 different sounds.

The equipment is battery powered with 2 x AAA batteries. These are supplied with the Alarm.

Collection from Herne Hill.

    • The whole point of a family meal is for us to celebrate the families birthdays and we have traditionally paid. Both daughters only work part time and have mortgages etc.  The food was good at the Vietnamese [lace but was spoilt by the overcharging of beverages. The 2 veggies usually share each other's food!  £30 per head is way too much especially given the children do not eat much. When you do a booking at £x per head that usually covers all adults and children and only toddlers sharing parents food go 'free'
    • Anything could have happened.  There may  have been a medical or family  emergency for all you know. In my experience Tommy Rooney has been an excellent communicator, and your description of him doesn't sound like him at all.
    • I agree. I'm just glad I gave up decades ago. I used to smoke very heavily (tobacco, not anything else!) and if I was still smoking that heavily now I probably couldn't afford to eat! Not to mention the effect on my health. But when I was growing up almost everybody smoked. How times have changed! BTW what on earth is "fake tobacco"? What is it if it isn't tobacco?
