Small Builders

I'm trying to find a builder to do a small outside job - all the people I usually use seem to have no interest in small jobs these days.

I am the friend and helper of a lovely 90 years old woman owns and lives in Victorian house; the steps to the front door are cracked and very unstable. there has been a temporary fix done on what was a hole. As such it is a safety issue, so we would be very grateful someone to come out to look at the steps and give a quote as soon as possible. Can anyone recommend any reliable and reasonable builders?
