sociable cycle ride Saturday March 24th

After the ride last Saturday when it snowed, the forecast for next Saturday is considerably better. This one starts 10am from Peckham Square which is the space between Peckham Pulse (the pool) and Peckham Library (SE15 5JR. Finish is two hours later in the same place.

The ride is called Four Parks and a Prison and that's a good description. Harry will be leading and it's the usual sociable easy paced ride which makes you that bit healthier but doesn't hurt. Flat :)

The ride goes out via Burgess Park; newly-filtered Brook Drive; Archbishops Park; Lambeth Walk; Vauxhall Pleasure Gardens; crossing the river at Vauxhall Bridge to take a look at the Tate Britain which is built on the site of the old Millbank prison.
