malumbu
Considered doing the Thames Clipper from Surrey Quays to Canary Wharf, but have chickened out so far as worried about getting lost this side of the river so do the Greenwich foot tunnel. Always takes 15 mins longer than I expect. rendelharris
At ?7.80 return I've never been tempted! Have you tried going via Tower Bridge? Surprisingly it's only half a mile further, time you easily make up by not having to wait for the lifts and walk through Greenwich tunnel, and there's the added bonus of a traffic-free path all the way down to Limehouse. malumbu
It was with work. I can cycle and my claim is for about ?2. Return on public transport via zone 1 would be 3 times that, so no issues with claiming for a Thames Clipper. Foot tunnel always takes so long, but it still feels wrong going via Tower Bridge. The Clipper is very cycle friendly and you can have a morning beer too. If you wanted. I'll have to try all three routes and write an article for the Grauniad.
