Since Jan 2017 I Have Saved ?982 On My Postage Stamps

Recommended Posts

SINCE JANUARY 2017 I HAVE SAVED ?982 ON MY POSTAGE! ? ALL THANKS TO GUSTAMPS

BIG FAVOUR: If this review prompts you to order from Gus please mention Michael Peacock from Nunhead London.

I Have previously reviewed the fantabulous emporium Gustamps, however I was quite a newcomer at the time and so much has occurred in a terrific way since then.

My closest friend who lives in Portslade way back alerted me to the savings that could be made.

Based in London I have since November 2016 sold over 5000 items on a well known auction site ? I USE A LOT OF STAMPS!

To date ( March 2018 ) since Jan 2017 I have purchased from Gustamps ?3930 of stamps ( face value ?4912 ) ? the TERRIFIC discount of 25% has so far saved me in excess of ?980!

Each month I am averaging ?300 order from Gus for ?400 face value ? my valued customers over 1300 to date, pay the face value ? with the auction site averaging 13% in fees anything I can do to reduce my overheads helps, so saving 25% on the cost of stamps makes a BIG difference.

I get a huge ?buzz? from decorating the parcels with the stamps, the feedback from customers has been terrific.

See photos for some colourful examples, I even use some of these images when listing my items on the auction site.

With my electronic scales and stamps I save so much time, as plenty of my parcels are not letter box fit, I do visit Peckham Post Office at least bi weekly, but never need to queue.

?COALS TO NEWCASTLE?! Now I am supplying stamps of the Queen and Queen Mother to the Manager at Peckham Post Office! And other cashiers have been asking me for stamps.

NOTE! GUS OFFERS MAIL ORDER: This is important ? The avalanche of FIVE STAR reviews has been terrific and so deserved, however the majority seem based on visits to the shop, so if you live outside of Brighton and need stamps, you don?t need to visit ? it is very easy:

Pick up the phone hit 01273 326994 you can make your phone order, Gus accepts card payment, make clear your preferences and within 24 hours your stamps will be in the post.

If it goes to answerphone leave a message with your number Gus will ALWAYS return your call.

Gus you are a STAR guy who makes me very happy and brightens the day for my customers.

BIG FAVOUR: If this review prompts you to order from Gus please mention Michael Peacock from London.

THANK-YOU!

Michael Peacock, Nunhead, London.

    • confused by the question?
    • My point was in response to this:  "The idea that serving as a local councillor (including dealing with the public, internal party politics - which is always the most vicious where the stakes are lowest, and plenty of unpaid prep work) is a great pathway for careerists and moneygrabbers is utter shite. On a per hour basis you'd be far better off working at Sainsbos."   You could give up your job at sainsbury's and do a councillor's work and be very much better off. Most of these councillors earn this sort of money and still have full time jobs on the side.
    • No. The pool changing rooms are unaffected.   The gym changing rooms (aka dry side) are being refurbished.
    • Thanks for the link Dave. For clarity, the document shows that he receives the standard basic allowance all councillors get and a Senior Responsibility Allowance commensurate with the post he held. He claims no other allowance or any expenses as far as I can see... which makes me wonder what your point might be?
