Hi,

I posted before regarding a 'Summer Holiday Sports Programme' at Bacon's College.


I have had a quiet a few response and a few of my friends have taken their children along, all are very happy.


Phone number is: 0207 450 4968. As I said before ask for extension 4086 or you will never get any information, I think the phone system has a black hole full of my messages.


Starts at 9:00am goes to 3:30pm and you can park on site, (It?s every week day of the summer holidays).

      I imagine Franco Manca's business dropped off quite a bit when Yard Sale opened (though isn't Yard Sale delivery only?) But in any case, both of those are chains.

      Thanks. I'll call them shortly as I could get there without the car.  That's good of Sainsburys! We've done the apple pie and tart thing, an ongoing muesli thing and the coleslaw thing - just not sure what effect all the sugars are having on our digestive tracts.  If we were in Somerset and had a press, I'd consider it. Can't be that diffcult, can it?

      One time Sainsbury's delivered 6 bags of apples instead of 6 single apples which I couldn't possibly get through. I phoned Pecan in Peckham to ask if they would accept them despite their website stating no fresh foods. I must have phoned at just the right time as they were happy to accept them. Sainsburys gave me a refund so the donation was courtesy of them. Or you could experiment with all kinds of apple recipes and write a blog about it
