Full-time nanny wanted Monday-Friday

Recommended Posts

Hi! We are a lovely family looking for a full-time, live-out nanny to help care for our 15-month old baby girl and our 3 year-old boy.

My husband and I work full-time. We need a nanny from 8.30 am - 6 PM Monday to Friday. We live in Clapham South.

Our little boy goes to nursery four days a week from 9 am - 3 PM. The nanny will need to drop him off and pick him up whilst also looking after the baby.

On the days that our toddler and the baby are together, the nanny will need to organise fun activities such as going to playgroups, play dates, soft play areas, the park etc.

Our son is very active and never stops. Our little girl is easy-going. The nursery is term-time only so there are lots of holidays. Our baby girl has a couple baby classes during the week (Hartbeeps and Monkey Music).

We are looking for someone who has a long-term commitment to a family and has a very good level of English.

We are looking for someone who is either qualified in childcare - for instance, a background in early child development - or has several years experience as a nanny. More importantly, we would like someone who has experience of being in sole charge of a baby and a toddler.

The nanny will have completed the relevant first aid and paediatric courses.

We are looking for:

Someone who is loving and caring and who really loves children.

- someone is sociable and enjoys being around people

- reliable; punctual and in good health

- active, energetic

- patient, kind, honest

- who will form a strong bond with our children; who loves to play

- someone who will read to our children and help them develop

- clean and has good hygiene

- excellent references

- an interest in good nutrition

Please send me your cv if you are interested. We will also need references and any qualifications / courses completed. We will need to meet you face to face.

We will pay competitively, depending on experience.

Thank you and look forward to hearing from you. AL

Dear family,

My name is Ad?lina.

I would like to apply for the nanny position that you are proposing.

In my previous position I have been working with children of different ages from babies to early teenager.

Helping families to settle a good routine for their children , supervising homework, bedtime and any duties relating to them.

Organising any activities or project to allow them to reach expected age related milestones and social behaviour.

Being supportive with the breastfeeding, the teething and the weaning process.

Cooking healthy and balanced meals and handle different household and personal errands such as home maintenance, shopping for food or supplies, arranging personal appointment or any requirements the family may have.

By working alongside with very busy families I have experienced that being proactive and totally flexible everyday is an important requirement if you want a be the nanny to very busy professional.

I'm looking for a very long term commitment as we can take the time to build an educated and caring environment around your children.

Do not hesitate to come back to me if you need my resume, my reference letter,my DBS check and my first aid.

Thank you for your time.

Best regards,

Miss Ad?lina Hernandez

    • Yes, should have given up by now but haven’t. Was waiting for my train yesterday and went into WHS on platform to buy a pack of fags. Almost feel to the floor when guy quoted me £28.00 for a packet of Silk Cut purple. Was a long day for me and thought I had totally misheard him! Asked again, only to be told that that was the price whuch is well over the odds..when I queried it as have bought, admittedly end of last year was told “ this is what management charges”. Surely this can’t be right…fags stayed in WHS paws while I bought some in Herne Hill at normal price. Still reeling over shock…..
    • I use the one in peckham where lidles is they are really good if you need somewhere closer
    • Going to be really inconvenient for folk to go that way as has been stated.. why not just move to Camberwell which I would assume is abit nearer and better travelling wise or have vets in both places from Lordship Lane Branch.. Must have been massive flood if going to take two months to dry out, electrical tests to make sure all good… From upstairs? Or where?
    • @selector73 Thanks!  Because we want him to be treated by the vets that know him we will have to get to the New X branch because thats where the team are based until LL reopens. Thank you again 🙏
