Yak
Is this possible? The family gown makes the yaklet look like a butch girl, so I was hoping to find something online that is modern and quite funky. But all I've found so far are really fussy outfits with waistcoats, huge bloomers etc at silly prices. There seems so much more for girls! Ideally I'd just like a romper suit. It has to be predominantly white or ivory though. Any ideas? mrs.lotte
When my sone was christened he wore white indian trousers and long indian shirt (I see that there is a stall on saturday market on Northcross selling them but we got our in Tooting). Dad is Anglo Indian but can't see that's a prerequisite. Bishberro
Hi - I think Jo Jo Maman Bebe does cream linen trousers/waistcoats and maybe try Monsoon. My first son wore Zara dungarees and a smart shirt to his christening (along with a flat cap!) and for my youngest a few weeks ago he just wore a smart short sleeved white shirt and linen trousers all from Baby Gap. Bonfire2010
Not sure I'd call it funky, but I got a cute white silk romper suit from Autograph at M&S (online) for my son's christening in June. It was quite simple as I didn't want anything frilly or flouncy..
