Advice/help needed for nursery search please!

Hello Everyone,

My little boy turns 6 months this week and I've just about started to look for nurseries and realised there is a lot to do.

Please can anyone give me some advice on the best nurseries in the Dulwich area and nurseries to avoid due to experience?

When do you need the place and for how many days a week? Full time places can take a while to become available. We are at Gumboots and my daughter is very happy there. I think the waiting list is very long though but call them and have a look around.

I think about 3 days a week, and ideally for September. Thanks so much, I will definitely call them and go view the nursery. SO many long long waiting lists!

Have you thought about using a registered childminder for your little boy? They can offer you a home from home environment at such a young age and of course they have to keep all the same paperwork, diaries, one to one, EYFS curriculum that a nursery have to offer.

If you go to the Southwark childcare website it will give you a list of all childcare providers with their information, fees, Ofsted rating, etc.
