I wonder if those stats differentiate between long balls and long passes?

My definition of a long ball would be a rushed hit and hope, usually by the goalie or a defender, whereas with a player like Scholes it is always said he hits 40-50 yard passes...

Well that was a good first trip to Anfield in 11 years, and a correct prediction, hurrah!

First half was more of the same, with Liverpool owning the ball but having no bite. Second half they were superb!

Can anyone tell me whether Suarez stamped someone? The incident happened not far from where we were sat, but I honestly didn't see anything that looked like a stamp, but first to admit that I don't have the best eye sight.

Only downwr was that I was in the bog when the first goal happened!

I've been very lucky with my trips to Anfield (which used to be at least once a month when I lived there), only seen one loss and that was a derby match on a Wednesday night in about '99.

Good result by Chelsea to run West Brom so close. Hopefully they can build on this narrow defeat. And Palace won. And QPR lost (in spectacular style). So a good day for football.
