Center Parcs - Alternatives and Advice Needed

Hi,

I was looking at a last minute break to Center Parcs but i am astounded at how much it costs..

It wasn't accommodation necessarily but the cost of the activities (?30 for a creche session? I have 2 kids so is that ?60 for them to play for a couple of hours??)

Any advice on alternatives?

Is it worth it - should i just take the plunge and go?

If you've got young kids and can go in term time then it's well worth it...it always just felt like a holiday not having to worry about how to entertain them all day....swimming and parks make life easy...I would always book in for the moonlight spa on the day of arrival and night before we left (?30 3hrs)...with ptnr staying with kids...figured I needed the spa more!

Centreparcs in Europe are much cheaper! We are going to a non centreparcs place in Holland called Duinrell with amusement park and water park

Have a look at Bluestone in Wales - much cheaper and great for the kids
