Hi,

I was looking at a last minute break to Center Parcs but i am astounded at how much it costs..

It wasn't accommodation necessarily but the cost of the activities (?30 for a creche session? I have 2 kids so is that ?60 for them to play for a couple of hours??)

Any advice on alternatives?

Is it worth it - should i just take the plunge and go?

Louise

If you've got young kids and can go in term time then it's well worth it...it always just felt like a holiday not having to worry about how to entertain them all day....swimming and parks make life easy...I would always book in for the moonlight spa on the day of arrival and night before we left (?30 3hrs)...with ptnr staying with kids...figured I needed the spa more!

    • out of interest, any ballpark figure on how many reactions you have done today? Seems like a software blip rather than a likely restriction (didn't someone else start a thread recently along same lines?)
    • Did you query the tissues and sand?
    • I just tried to "like" a post and I got a message saying I could not add any more reactions today. Is this a new rule, or have I just been more restrained in the past?!  No idea why that last bit is underlined . ..
    • I have swum in it several times since it's reopened.  No problems.  The sand stuff is a bit off-putting but like all pools they'll have to test and log the water quality regularly so I think it's unlikely to be a health issue.  The water is clearer than a pool I use regularly near my work - also with no issues.
