Brayard's Road

Hey guys!

I'm very sorry if this is in the wrong section. I've had a slight browse and thought this was the best place, but feel free to move if suits better elsewhere.

Basically, i'm a student (going into final year of uni) and i'm wondering about the area around Queen's Road Peckham Station/Brayard's Road (where I am moving into a room) and the general safety of it.

I've looked at the police crime map, but that only details from June. Also, when I google anything relating to it, it seems to talk about Peckham Rye, or areas which aren't too specific to the area. To say I am concerned is the wrong word (I spent two years living in Manor House with friends), but I'd just like to know more about the area i'm moving to. The landlady said to 'keep your wits about you' - but this, coupled with my search results, has painted a bit of a scary picture in my mind.

Sorry if this message is slightly confusing. Basically - anybody live around Brayard's Road tell me what it's like?!

I grew up around the Brayards Road area and there's nothing to fear unless you're living next door to me. Just like any place in London you'll need to keep your wits.
