Hi there, my name is Maria and looking for a flatmate from beginning June. Flat is located in North Cross Rd, 2 minutes walk to Lordship Lane, transport links and the Saturday Market.

This is a 2 bedroom garden flat with a large basement that can be used as storage, exercise room and a games room with a professional ping pong table....yes, it's big! The garden has a BBQ, chimenea and a dining set.

Bedroom is furnished and decorated but can be flexible if you have your own furniture. Photos do not really do it justice so come and see it! :)

I'm a young professional working in technology in the city. I'm looking for a friendly flatmate I can share the occasional take away and watch a film, I have a cat too. The cat is an indoor/outdoor cat so no smelling or cleaning any mess, he's also super friendly!

Looking for 850 inclusive of all bills (gas, electric, Tv, broadband, water, council, etc)

PM me if interested!

    • It may be worth consulting your vet. If she's diabetic & on medication, she will have missed 1-2 doses. It's a relief to hear that she's home, & I hope she makes a speedy recovery.
    • The swimming lessons at JAGS Sportsclub are very popular, and the gym there might meet your needs. Southwark took over running its leisure centres from everyone active a while back and so far seems to be making a real mess of things. There’s lots of private gyms and other council ones in Lewisham and Lambeth so depending on exactly where you’re going to be you can look at those. JAGS and Dulwich College both have sports clubs with nice facilities, but you can’t use them during the school day. Check their sites for details.
    • https://www.theguardian.com/uk-news/2025/jun/26/cardiff-blackweir-festival-bute-park-dispute?CMP=Share_AndroidApp_Other Another example of a badly sited festival, and a council bending over for the cash. What amazes me is the similarity in every way to Gala - large areas annexed but the council trying to convince everyone it's only a tiny part of the park. Claiming that the flora & fauna is being protected when the reality is a tick-box environmental survey that's not worth the paper it's written on. All very depressing.
