New donations based yoga class at Space@61 starting Thursday 17th May

I'm so excited to be starting a new weekly donations based yoga class at the lovely Space@61, 61 Cheltenham Road, SE15 3AF, from tomorrow, Thursday 17th May, 7pm - 8pm. I strongly believe yoga should be accessible and available to everyone, and have wanted to start my own local class for a while, so I'm pleased to have found such a great space to hold it. The suggested donation is ?10, but really, pay what you feel, or what you can afford,there will be a box in class on the day to pop your money in.

The class is Vinyasa Flow, but open to all levels, so whether you're new to yoga or have been practising for a while, it would be lovely to have you there, come as you are! Places are limited, so please do let me know if you'd like to come along by sending me a text, 07776093719, or contacting me on Instagram @squarepegyoga. Please bring your own mat if you have one, though I will have a few spare.

  Although this sounds worrying, a "bitey" fox is unusual. I see foxes all the time where I live near Rye Lane and have never experienced this. I've even seen a fox sitting in the garden where an outdoor cat lives, whilst the cat was there - the cat was fine and is still alive. I think my flat is on a fox path because I hear and see them most nights, none of the local cats seem bothered by them. I can't help but wonder what would make the fox act in such a way, I've just read that toxoplasmosis might make them more aggressive

  Thanks Sue. No the car just drove on. We don't know if they noticed. We were driving behind. We were just glad we could be with the cat, and take him to the vet, rather than leaving him there 😞

  Certainly the infamous (and mythical) SE London cat killer turned out to be foxes attacking dying and dead cats injured by cars, but fox: cat encounters do appear to happen, even where cats are victorious. Fox: adult humans less so. At least where foxes are the aggressors.
