A Call for Local Organisations to book a Slot

Are you a local charity, group or organisation?

Do you want a platform to engage with the 1000?s of members of the East Dulwich community on a regular basis?

East Dulwich Action Group and the North Cross Road Traders Association are strengthening ties to our local area by adding a ?Charity/Community Stall? to the weekly Saturday market on North Cross Road.

This Community Stall, which will be available to a charities and community groups on a rotating basis, will provide your organisation the opportunity to engage with the community and raise funds, recruit volunteers or just tell them what you are up to.

Hi Abe

It's not our stall, but will be a charity/community stall delivered as part of a number of improvements to North Cross Road Market.

We've had some really lovely interest in this initiative and look forward to welcoming the first guests of the stall to the market soon.

Check out our website for more updates as they launch: http://loveeastdulwich.com

    • In part, it’s largely down to people not actually caring about anyone or anything else apart from their own gratification (btw, there are better ways to get a dopamine fix)
    • I totally agree it just seems that it a thing nowadays.  It must be due to how fireworks are sold.

    • If it was limited to a couple of days a year, so we all knew, that would be fine. In the last few years (and it is a recent thing) you get random fireworks going off any time after dusk for half the year. It does more than cause problems for pets and wildlife- it can mean lasting damage and massive expense and hassle for pet owners. All because some get a buzz out of loud bangs.
