Wanted: Nanny for 2 days a week in Herne Hill

Recommended Posts

We are looking for a nanny 2 days a week to care for our two year old boy-girl twins.

Days would be 2 days over Mon, Tues or Weds, and can determine this with the right person. Hours would be 8am-6pm. The role would ideally be starting the week of 18 June or at the latest beginning of July.

Some ad hoc additional days may be a possibility during particularly busy work periods for us.

We are looking for someone reliable, warm and with previous nanny experience with similar aged children. The twins are entering a really fun stage where they are communicating more and more and really exploring the world, so lots of ideas and energy for activities, crafts, adventures would be great. Responsibilities would include sole care of the children, taking them to & organising activities, preparing healthy meals, and organisation/tidying/light cleaning of play areas and children's room. OFSTED registration, DBS checked and first aid all desirable.

Huge bonus if you are a native Spanish and French speaker and would use the language somewhat in your work.

We've worked with a lovely nanny to date, but changes in our childcare needs and in both in our and her circumstances mean we are looking for someone new. Ideally we could find someone who would want to work with us over at least the next year and possibly longer.

If interested, drop me a direct message with a bit about your experience, day(s)s available/preferred, as well as your current rates. Thanks!

Please note that we know of another family, based in East Dulwich, who is looking for a Spanish speaking nanny for Thurs-Fri. This could be a nice combination for someone looking for four days work. They are also advertising here on EDF or we'd be happy to put you in touch.

    • Going to be really inconvenient for folk to go that way as has been stated.. why not just move to Camberwell which I would assume is abit nearer and better travelling wise or have vets in both places from Lordship Lane Branch.. Must have been massive flood if going to take two months to dry out, electrical tests to make sure all good… From upstairs? Or where?
    • @selector73 Thanks!  Because we want him to be treated by the vets that know him we will have to get to the New X branch because thats where the team are based until LL reopens. Thank you again 🙏
    • There's 1 in camberwell hope that helps
    • Thank you !  We Will find a way to get him to New X because We owe his life to the vets he sees at Lordship Lane branch and they know him (and us) and we prefer the continuity of care because he's an elderly rescue cat who gets extremely anxious even though he's been needing monthly bloods he just never gets used to going and it can be a lengthy process just getting the sample. Can you tell I'm as anxious about the whole thing as he is??😥
