Dyeing Shoes - Help!

Recommended Posts

I managed to get a pair of perfect (brand new!) shoes for an outing at St Christophers Hospice shop. They are very pink. And I need them either dark purple or dark grey. Or black if I completely c*** this up.

The sole is leather but the top bit that goes around your foot says it's textile on the shoe's website. So it's not satin, leather, nubuck or anything like that but how on earth can I try to dye these?

Anyone got any experience of vaguely successfully doing this themselves or is there somewhere I could take them?

Gail's would have opened much sooner as they were lined up and able to offer the landlord much higher rents. Brickhouse was a local favourite
