dulwichtopeckham Posted June 4, 2018 Share Posted June 4, 2018 I was knocked off my bike by a black Prius on Sunday 3 June at 1335 on Lyndhurst Way - the driver didn?t stop (@&$@$!!!!).The car was turning on to Lyndhurst Way from Lyndhurst Grove and didn?t see me. I and two friendly passers-by only got the first half of the reg (LB60 ). I?m pretty sore and my bike?s totalled.If anyone saw it happen and took down the car?s reg I?d appreciate you getting in touch.Cheers. Also, if you get a crime number, you can make a claim for damages to your bike and personal injury to the Motor Insurance Bureau, which exists specifically to compensate victims of hit-and-runs and uninsured drivers https://www.mib.org.uk/Hope it doesn't put you off cycling, ride safe.
