Hi!

I am looking for an employed professional who is clean, tidy , easy going and respectful. The room is in 2 bedroom stunning, bright garden flat on Barry Road which is available from 07/07/2018 for a long term rent. The flat has a living/dinning room with exposed break wall. It has lovely sofas, a dinning table and a fire place. The kitchen has a dishwasher, washing machine and tall fridge freezer. There is direct acces to a beautiful garden which has a gorgeous decked area and its perfect for summer BBQs. The room comes furnished with a double bed, a chest of drawer and two brend new bedside tables. There is a big storage which is located in the hallway just in front of the room and it will be yours.

The flat is on Barry Road ,near junction of Upland Road which is just a stone's throw (about a 3 minute walk)from all lovely shops and bars at Lordship Lane. It is on the doorstep of the Saturday market on Northcross Road. East Dulwich station is in a short walking distance where you can take over ground train to London Bridge which takes only 15 minutes. The local pub, The Clockhouse is utterly delightful for lazy Sunday's. Peckham Rye is just around the corner. Parking is on street and doesn't require a permit.

You would be sharing with me. I'm 38 year old female working full time.

Sorry but this is a smoke and pet free house.

The rent is ?750 per calendar month.

Drop me a message if you are interested ( please include a little bit about yourself) .

Many thanks

    • Thanks Penguin. It could be a coincidence. But after years of road safety being on the local agenda they finally put the crossings in months before Dulwich Estates regain the lease on The Grove.   The Estate understands there is strong local interest in improving this area and we hope to be in a position to share some exciting updates in the near future. The temporary skatepark will remain unaffected. “Temporary skatepark” is telling.
    • Back to my earlier post about familiarity.  I was in Croydon this afternoon walking between the two main stations.  Didn't feel unsafe, but there were some 'interesting' characters on the street.  Not that any were bothered with me. Not a place I'd choose to go for a bit of a fun.  Although having said that West Croydon has some cracking restaurants and the wonderfully named Saints and Sinners bar, where I once went on a corporate do - not that I did many of these. Whoops just checked and it closed a few months ago. Back on track, I never went to the Castle as I felt it was a bit rough.  How wrong was I?  Only real pub left in the area.
    • Wow Sue! I was reading your post with interest as I’ve never really felt unsafe in London and I was born here. It was just your last paragraph that derailed me and totally changed the subject matter! So unnecessary.
