Bike Train to central London and beyond June 20th

Come on the Bike Train for an escorted ride to central London. We will be going via Quietway 1 ? London?s best indeed only decent quietway. It's a very pleasant cycle ride away from Peckham Rye and Nunhead stations but TfL say it mustn't be signposted. We will show you the way.

We set off at 7.45am from Nunhead station, swing by Peckham Rye (meeting at the bike stands behind McDonalds)at 7.55am and then head up glorious Surrey Canal Path. QW1 is only 10 mins very easy ride from Peckham Town Centre and it crosses all the approach roads to the Thames bridges ? starting with Tower Bridge, London Bridge, Southwark Bridge and finally Blackfriars. Riders can be taken to any one of them, take your pick, and be taken on if you let us know in advance. We get to the river around 8.30am

  Thanks for your feedback - we always appreciate hearing from members about their experience. The pool temperature at JAGS Sports Club is maintained at 29oC, in line with industry guidelines for mixed-use pools. This temperature has been designed to balance comfort for lane swimmers and families. Air temperature is also monitored regularly to ensure a comfortable environment for swimmers, spectators and staff. The shower Temperature Mixing Valves (TMVs) were changed in December to improve consistency, and we hope this has made a noticeable difference.   One wonders if he would have defected if he had, ahem, held on to the leadership of Southwark and whether he felt that "Labour are no longer the vehicle for social justice" during his leadership election........my how quickly things change in the thoughts of a politician 😉 I think this sums things up quite nicely: A senior Southwark Labour spokesperson hit back: “Local residents can draw their own conclusions about Cllr McAsh’s swift move from Labour leadership hopeful to the Green Party, after he didn’t get his own way. While he’s thinking about his own career, Southwark Labour are delivering for residents.” One wonders if he will stand as a Green candidate in Goose Green.

  No doubt if he determines to stand for a ward he will enlighten us - at least his track record is one of using this site to communicate (inter alia). I would suspect that (1) his personal views on traffic will have remained consistent but that (2) his views on local democracy and proper consultation will have as well.

  Yes, but I want to know where he stands on all this stuff now. My feeling is it won't be any different from Labour?
