Now SOLD.

Hi,

I realised I use my laptop almost exclusively now and am selling my PC as I haven't used it for months.

Good spec AMD 8 core CPU, 12GB of RAM, 2X500GB hard drives, good quality PSU and nice Antec Midi-tower case with Dvd writer and memory card reader.

Yours for ?60.

Pm me for more details or pics.

  • 2 weeks later...

Sorry to all who PM'ed.

I had some issues with the PC which turned out to be faulty RAM.

The faulty memory has now been replaced with some from another PC which had seen even less use, the consequence of which is that the computer now has 6GB RAM.

To answer some of the questions from PMs.

Has Windows 10 Home installed.

This is a home built PC, not a big name brand, but it has high quality parts.

CPU is an AMD FX-8320 Black Edition (8-core 3.2GHz) with quality dual-fan cooler (never overclocked)

Motherboard is a Gigabyte GA-78LMT-USB3

RAM is 6GB DDR3

No separate GPU

Built in graphics has VGA, DVI and HDMI out

Antec NSK-4000 case - with anti-vibration mounts for the HDDs -120mm fan - very quiet

Antec 620W PSU - plenty of juice for a graphics card

Nothing else comes with the PC - ie no screen, keyboard or mouse.

Keeping price at ?60 as I think I underpriced it previously, and even with less RAM it is still a very good price.

    • Thanks. I'll call them shortly as I could get there without the car.
    • One time Sainsbury's delivered 6 bags of apples instead of 6 single apples which I couldn't possibly get through. I phoned Pecan in Peckham to ask if they would accept them despite their website stating no fresh foods. I must have phoned at just the right time as they were happy to accept them. Sainsburys gave me a refund so the donation was courtesy of them. Or you could experiment with all kinds of apple recipes and write a blog about it
    • There's a food bank off Dog Kennel Hill. Albrighton Community Fridge. https://www.albrightoncommunityfridge.org/ I'm sure they would welcome them, but maybe check first, as they don't actually mention fresh fruit on their website? But apples aren't that perishable. Drop off seven days a week 9 - 5. Be warned if you are going by car, parking can be very difficult, easiest if there are two of you so one person can take the food in while the other can move the car if necessary.
    • Food banks for sure and what about approaching these schools in area that run summer camps - although having said that with health and safety being so strict might not allow it - crazy really.    Can’t remember name of church but was one in Peckham that from memory did a community meal a couple of times a week. Now they for sure would take them and probably Kingswood House as well.
