Our fantastic nanny - available from September

Recommended Posts

Hello,

Our amazing nanny will be leaving us in September after 3 years with us. Our youngest will be going to full time nursery so we?ll be moving onto an au pair.

She?s warm, reliable, good fun and very responsible with loads of experience. Our children are now 10, 8 and 3 1/2 - so she started when the little one was 8 months old. We?re extremely sorry to see her go but just don?t need full time childcare during the day anymore. My friends often see her walking round Dulwich with the children and often comment on what a brilliant relationship she has with the children and how she is always really engaged with them.

She does all the children?s washing, takes our youngest to loads of groups and swimming, is extremely happy to host mass play-dates for the older two (and little one now...)

She?s ideally looking for a 4 day a week job. Currently she does 11 hours a day for us, 4 days a week and she wouldn?t be able to just do after school care or fewer hours than that (or we?d keep her!).

Please PM me if you are interested - I?ll be happy to answer any questions and can pass on her details.

Thanks!

Hi there! I would love your nanny's details. We are looking for a live-in nanny share to help with our two boys, both 2, near Peckham Rye park. I hope that's something she might be interested in, in which case I would love to hear from her.

Best wishes

Olivia

    • @NewWave I know how you feel. Like you, I've lived and spent prolonged periods of time in some pretty crazy places and always thought I could handle a bunch of kids. But, no - they got to me and I was shaking like a leaf afterwards. That's what age does to us.  But I did engage with them, so bear that in mind.  My advice would be to never let anything like that stop you doing the things you love. I'm certainly not going to stop using the park, there's no way they get to take away our cherished spaces!  If you see them, just change tack and keep out of their way. My dog won't even go that way again, so that's that problem solved. (If I see them again, I'm going to keep taking photos from a safe distance).
    • Truly horrific. Being passive or fighting back is what many of us think about by violent theft.
    • What ridiculous waste of money
    • Lots of good primary schools within reach of there. Fairlawn, Goodrich, Ivydale and Horiman. Secondary schools you will definitely get into the Harris Academies or Sydenham Girls or Forest Hill Boys, you might just be on the boundary for the East Dulwich or North Dulwich Charter but it changes every year.
