I bought this bike last November from Evans intending to commute. I changed jobs and now use the train - 22 miles is a bit too far!)

The nexus gears are great for users that want simplicity. I was surprised at how effective they are.

Even on eBay Evans are asking over ?1k for a refurbished model https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/BMC-Alpenchallenge-02-One-2018-Hybrid-Bike-L-Ex-Demo-Ex-Display-Brown-/123107791964 which is bonkers when I paid ?749 in the end of year sale.

It's a quality light frame with excellent wheels, tyres and brakes.

Pick up a bargain. This isn't just any old heavyweight hybrid that you'd find in a high street store. It's really nice.

It's been out only about 10 times and each time about 5-10 miles. There are a couple of scratches and a mark on the saddle.

The pedals are Shimano flat /rat-trap on one side and spd on the other. These are included.
