Morning! I?m back to work next week after 8 months with my little man 😢. I?ve really enjoyed Pilates whilst on maternity leave and am keen to continue. Could anyone recommend a good Pilates class in the evenings where the instructor could adapt some of the exercises to being postnatal-friendly? Thank you!

I do a pilates class at 8.15pm on a Thursday evening at Goose Green clinic (perfect for post-bedtime). It's not a post-natal one specifically but it's for beginners/improvers and I started at about 8 months post-natal too and it's been fine for me.

I am a postnatal Pilates specialist, I teach a general class on a Monday evening in Peckham at 8pm, there is a space if you'd like to join, I always tailor exercises to suit and it's diastasis recti-friendly (and most of the class are mums). Or, I am running a two-week workshop on pelvic floor and core restore, Thursday 12th and 19th July at 8pm if you'd like to come along to that. Email me for more details if you're interested, Anya x [email protected]

    • Now I have heard everything…..not send your kid to a school because you don’t like the name - so to get my head around this, if school is outstanding, parents won’t send their child there because of name of school? Or have I not understood?
    • A quick Google says that it is not undersubscribed unlike many subject schools so those claims mentioned above may not be true. Last Ofsted was good.  You are definitely right about the money. This is what trusts do. Remove word ‘subject’ above Remove word ‘subject’ above I can’t edit my ridiculous errors but would like to apologise  for messy post
    • I have heard claims that people don't send their children there because of the name of the school..?  I genuinely cannot get my head around this one. The school is named after the road it is on which is named after the history of the area!  'Grove Primary School' is potentially the most boring name they could have come up with, and for a school struggling financially, is rebranding the school really the best use of funds?
