The phone will be answered in English but a call-back can be arranged with an interpreter.The Public Interest Law Unit (PILU) is a project of Lambeth Law Centre, specialising in public law, human rights and public inquiries. PILU acts for individuals and campaign groups who?ve been treated unlawfully by public bodies (More info here).The phone line is open for direct and second-tier advice as well as referrals. PILU will work with all EEA nationals affected by homelessness or at risk ? people vulnerably housed, moving from place to place as well as those sleeping rough.PILU?s work focuses on challenging unlawful public bodies? decisions, actions or policies in a range of arrears ? may it be access to Welfare Benefits, Healthcare or Housing.PILU are also aware of continued enforcement and discrimination against EEA nationals, which we will challenge wherever possible.
