Sink hole in Townley Road

drove down Townley rd this afternoon and there were two residents who placed bins in middle of road diverting traffic around a sink hole in the road - does anyone have any updates

I saw that last week, when it was just a little dimple

This happened on this road a couple of years back on a much larger scale..and the entire road was closed for quite a number of days.

I have just driven past it and there are men looking at the hole! At least the road hasn?t been closed!

For anyone looking into the very deep escavation in Townley Road, this might explain the vast size of the water pipe that is now visible
