Aussieuk
Is there a local Justice of the Peace or public notary who can certify a copy of a document? Cost? Thank you! Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/197072-justice-of-the-peace/ Share on other sites
IlonaM
Depending on the document the Post Office can certify copies (https://www.postoffice.co.uk/document-certification-service) and this is probably the cheapest option. Otherwise, pop into a solicitor's firm and ask at reception. When I was in practice we used to charge around ?10 per document, but this may have changed. We do have Notaries Public in the event that you need one - usually a solicitor with further qualification as notary, but you can find some who are not lawyers (www.thenotariessociety.org.uk).
