Our Wonderful Nanny available 2 days a week

Recommended Posts

She has now taken something so is no longer available, sorry!.....

Our wonderful nanny is looking for some extra days as the family we share her with no longer need their hours. At present we employ her for 2.5 days a week - on a Tuesday and Friday all day and Wednesday morning and so we are hoping to help her find another family who can commit to something in the region of 15 - 20 hours a week (ideally split over 2 longer days). However we could also consider someone just looking for 2 half days or 1 full day as we have someone else interested in some of the hours. Our days can also possibly be flexible if necessary.

We really don't want to loose her as she is fantastic and has developed a great bond with our son (3.5) and daughter (21 months) whom she has looked after for the best part of the last 2 years since our daughter was born. She lives locally in East Dulwich so knows the area well and has experience with a range of age groups both in the nursery setting in her previous jobs and as a sole charge nanny. She is very organised and takes it upon herself to plan activities for the day, both at home and out and about. She regularly drives our children to various activities. She is also very keen to assist with child related household tasks as well as basic meal prep for the children. She is up to date with her first aid training and is CRB checked, with excellent references available from previous employers. This is someone who really enjoys and takes pride in her role and is enthusiastic about childcare and development. She is respectful of our beliefs, approach to childcare, and how we run our household. She is both quietly confident and creative when dealing with our children, making even the most dull task into a game. She calmly handles toddler tantrums and never looses her cool. My friends who have regularly observed her out and about have always reported back very positively. We are desperate not to loose her as it was so hard to find a good fit, but starting in September she needs more hours than we can give her. Please message (or text 07794954277) me if you'd like more information. I could not recommend her too highly.

    • I’m basing it on the fact that Jeremy Corbyn had repeatedly and on record said he is against mandatory vaccinations in any situation, and he wouldn’t disclose wether he had the Covid vaccine himself    as I said. Not as bad as his brother but very definitely a bit weird about the whole thing. Just say you had the vaccination Jeremy, say that everyone should and stop being weird in the middle of a global pandemic    it’s the same slippery evasive nonsense about Brexit and him. About Putin poisonings and him.     if you are happy with his evasiveness then you do you.  But there is a reason the country wouldn’t get behind him
    • It was my understanding that Jeremy Corbyn was embarrassed by his brother and had distanced himself from his brother's views. I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong. Why on earth should "the overall view of that family inform Jeremy's response to the pandemic"? What exactly are you basing that assumption on?
    • I guess it's best to do what most Brits do these days, keep your head down and say nothing! although that's probably why this country is in the mess it is today!  😞
