In answer to the title of this thread, the Telegraph is owned by Red Bird Capital who have plans to expand the paper's coverage into the US. This whole episode will have done them no harm there and increased their profile in the States. -
I have read the piece - there are some thing worth investigating further in there but there is a LOT of "allegedly" in that article and a lot of unsubstantiated accusations from people who are very much biased themselves -

GB News and Sky don't have the sweep and the reputation of the BBC. I suggest you read the piece. Excoriating could be replaced by 'devastating.'
