Warning - Forest Hill Road/Piermont Green

Just a warning to keep an eye out as approx. 3.30 this afternoon a young girl had an item stolen by two young men on a moped near the Herne Tavern. They rode across Piermont Green up Piermont Road. She bravely gave chase but they got away.

We were walking to Nunhead Cemetery earlier today and stopped for a drink at the Ivy House. There were two people on a moped driving up and down and eyeballing pedestrians, you just knew there were up to no good. I was going to report them but the last time I called the non emergency number I gave up after 35 mins of waiting. That was after someone mounted the pavement on a moped and case straight for us.

I'd have used 999 if they're actively searching for targets like that.

You have to assume they all could be carrying knives or guns and call 999 after what happened in Greenwich.
