hi I think it is probably better for older children - and it is very expensive to get into - ?25 for an adult and a bit less for kids. I only know as my ten year old was very keen to have a look (having read their annuals) but even he baulked at the price!!! take them round the corner to M & M's world to look at the pretty colours. Shameless corporate PR but very entertaining just to look at all the stuff - and don't buy any of the 'beans' as they taste disgusting - now if they were smarties........

I think my youngest was about 2 1/2 when we went - I don't recall it being traumatic for him in any way, but I can't say he got much out of it & he certainly doesn't recall any of it 5 years on.

The older kids liked it well enough (5, 8 &9), it is expensive though, but I see to remember that they gave out vouchers so we got in cheaper? Might be worth googling to see if there are any voucher deals.

    • The builders guarantee system is quite fraught. I had a 10 year guarantee for correction of rising damp; within 18 months. The symptoms returned and I was told by the tradesman who returned on an inspection visit that the symptoms this time were not caused by rising damp they were caused by condensation and so the guarantee did not apply.  Without a court battle which would’ve cost thousands there was nothing I could do.

    • Hi all, I’m looking for a local photographer for one hour on Sunday 21st at 6pm in East Dulwich. We’re doing a food prep session and I’d love some natural, professional shots of: • Food being plated • Prep in action • A few team shots • Some finished dish photos We’re a small independent food business and don’t have a big budget for this one, but happy to agree a fair hourly rate and credit/tag you on all content. If anyone local is building their portfolio or fancies a quick paid shoot, please DM me with your rates and examples of your work.
