I?ve called this lovely house a home for a few years now but I?m looking for a someone new to share the space with. There are two bedrooms and the larger is up for grabs. The place is nestled away a five minutes walk from Forest Hill station with excellent rail, overground and bus links across London. Forest Hill itself has enough happening, it?s pretty easy going with extended areas such as Peckham, Brockley, Crystal Palace and Lewisham only a short journey away.

This unique property is a whole house (it used to be a stable block, so downstairs and up too!) with all living spaces on the ground floor and two bedrooms the first. There is a long gated private garden full of trees to the front and small walled utility courtyard the back. I have a background in design and have furnished the house myself and so full usage of everything is included in the price with bills on top.

I?m Joseph, a Welshman in my twenties. I'm an interiors stylist and currently head up my own small online reclaimed and designer furniture and interiors business. My home has been quite a peaceful place away from a sometimes hectic albeit fun city. I?m looking to share with someone mindful of that who wants an easy, relaxing and fresh environment to live in.

I?m available for viewings during most days and evenings, just hit me up in advance and I?ll gladly meet you for a viewing. The room will be available from July at ?650. Please see Spareroom for all details: https://www.spareroom.co.uk/flatshare/london/forest_hill/6921946

I think that?s everything. I look forward to hearing from you. Cheers!

    • What is it that makes Waitrose so special! Admittedly I have shopped a couple of times in the Orpington and Beckenham one - sometimes buying food which I cannot get else where. Their 'basic range' is not bad. Price for price and quality - M & S.
    • Sometimes a shed or other installation has to have written approval from the freeholder i.e. Southwark, Southwark has (or did have) a Leaseholder Association.   Could also come under Anti Social Behaviour Unit.
    • Love Dulwich is great but has a large step in front. We have only been weekdays at Lunch time. Maria's next to Picture House is disabled friendly. Also can reserve table in advance. We did a Sunday lunch catch up with family - there were 8 of us.
    • Hi, Thinking about  going with some friends and was just wondering if folk might like to report back please. Most importantly sound level when busy & is it disabled friendly.  Thinking on a Sunday lunchtime but don’t want a busy busy environment or loud chatter - a couple of friends could not cope. Time can be flexible, if that helps - say 2 ish to avoid above.. Thanks…
