Hi All,

I switched to Bulb Energy from EDF and saverd ?437 on has and electricity bill. Plus Bulb gives every year ?30 discount.

Bulb is great - cheapest, great Customer service and all renewable energy... very close to Nicholas Tesla vision... :-)

I used someones's referral link to switch to Bulb and they credited me and the other person with ?50 each.

Now I offer a Referral link of my own to switch energy to Bulb and Bulb will credit you ?50 by using my link and I will get ?50 for reffering you when you complete the switch (it takes 21 days to do so).

My link is: bulb.co.uk/refer/roumens9211 - just copy and paste it in your browser. It will take you to Bulb's site for a quote. If you are happy with it - just follow the link to switch - it takes less than a minute or two.

You can contact me via PM if you have any question.

Thanks for looking.

Regards,

Bianca - bulb.co.uk/refer/roumens9211

Not me. Your family has already profited from this forum more than probably anyone else. You do seem to like tacky promotions. In this Bulb one you've already made your ?50. Let someone else benefit, preferably many people rather than just the one who gets a free ?50 for every person who copies their link.

Better to go on a few comparison sites, put in your postcode and annual useage, and see who is cheapest.

Then look at customer service ratings.

Also, sites such as Money Saving Expert give cashback in some cases if you switch through them (but even with the cashback you are not necessarily getting the cheapest deal)

I?m astonished to read the above comment by IANR.

Seems that IANR has some vendetta against me and my posts?

With all due respect, IANR fails to notice that this is not a ?tacky? promotion, but an official promotion from official energy company!

The second wrong point is stating that I alone benefit from that promotion?

The truth is, as stated in my article, that I gain ?50 when a person switches to Bulb Energy via my referral, BUT also the person gets ?50 credit doing so, on top of other benefits from an energy company that is green and supplies 100% renewable energy and is cheaper than the big ones?

On the other hand, maybe IANR has shares and interests in the big energy companies, which explains the vicious attacks on my post.

However, EDF members can judge the benefits of Bulb Energy as recommended by Which, MoneySavingExpert.com, uSwitch and rest of reputable advisors, rather than from a ?know it all? person.

Anyway, I personally used one of those referring links to switch my home energy supply from EDF to Bulb and I am very happy about it. Moreover, yes, the person referred me to Bulb benefitted from that promotion, as did I.

And that is exactly I am doing here ? letting ?someone else benefit, preferably many people? get ?50 each when joining a truly green energy supplier! Not me only as per the comment above!

Regards

?98 a month?

I've just switched suppliers from Flow to Avro and I'm paying ?57 a month for gas and electricity in a three bed terrace!

ETA: So I've nearly saved as much as your fifty pound one off incentive in a month (except I haven't, because I wasn't paying anything like as much as ?98 a month with Flow)

    • Lordship Lane has two dry cleaners, three pizza places and an Italian selling pizza, two burger places, three bakeries, two hardware (ish, I'm thinking AJ Farmer here), God knows how many coffee and charity shops, two Italians, three nail salons, five wine shops... Where was the abject outrage when Dynamic Vines opened up literally next door to Cave de Bruno? But I don't see his customers decamped next door - no, those stalwarts are still out in force every night.  In Roman times all businesses were clustered by product. It's what kept prices down. Same in any market you go to abroad, they're all selling the same things next to each other.  Why is everyone being so hard on this new place? It's called healthy competition - you can't curtail the expansion of your business on the basis you that might hurt someone else's.

    • In restaurant terms I would say a chain manifests when the motivation is no longer “we are a couple/small group who have an idea and love food” who open a restaurant, them another and then a few more BUT THEN PIVOT to “we need capital to rollout out new restaurants so we have leveraged the help of the following investors”  that is the moment it stops being about the chef/food on the plate and becomes about the spreadsheet  so it is POSSIBLE  for a restaurant to have 50 branches and not be a chain - but I can’t think of any  I don’t know chango - by based on the number of outlets they appear to have just crossed/or are about to cross that line
