My son (now 8) has been going to the Nimble Arts holiday club since he was 4 years old and absolutely loves it!

They have a different theme daily, from magic to circus skills... Sometimes they?ll learn about history in a fun way, say with Medieval knights and a special visitor dressing up and coming in to do a short talk and maybe some role play and games in the same vein. Sometimes they?ve even had weird and wonderful creatures the children can learn about and have a hold if they?re brave enough!!

They do Arts and crafts, games and have a bouncy castle. It is basically like a real life Blue Peter set and many of those running it are teachers or have direct childcare experience, so it?s very well organised and you can trust the carers completely.

Not sure when there are spaces left for summer at Goodrich but check their website for availability

They accept bank transfers and childcare vouchers which is also handy.

They have children from age 4 yrs upwards.

Cannot recommend more highly :)

My 7yo loves Nimble Arts, he is always super excited about going - have been going for 3 years. We tried a number of other clubs for variety but Nimble is the one he prefers by far.

The theme days, staff and locations are always great - thoroughly recommend it.

Last week my youngest (4) started the club having "graduated" from his private nursery... He LOVES it - they do arts and crafts, magic, have a bouncy castle, loads of games, and one day (mini beasts theme) he even held a giant snail and cockroach (nice).

My eldest has done magic, beat boxing, made a robot head, and held a bird of prey (yes really!!) so far this fortnight.

WONDERFUL WITH A CAPITAL 'W' :) HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

plus your kids are looked after by staff who include teachers so they are in very safe hands...

    • Thanks for your feedback - we always appreciate hearing from members about their experience. The pool temperature at JAGS Sports Club is maintained at 29oC, in line with industry guidelines for mixed-use pools.  This temperature has been designed to balance comfort for lane swimmers and families. Air temperature is also monitored regularly to ensure a comfortable environment for swimmers, spectators and staff. The shower Temperature Mixing Valves (TMVs) were changed in December to improve consistency, and we hope this has made a noticeable difference. If you would like to discuss your experience in more detail, please contact us directly at [email protected] or 020 8613 6500 and we'll be really happy to help.
    • One wonders if he would have defected if he had, ahem, held on to the leadership of Southwark and whether he felt that "Labour are no longer the vehicle for social justice" during his leadership election........my how quickly things change in the thoughts of a politician 😉 I think this sums things up quite nicely: A senior Southwark Labour spokesperson hit back: “Local residents can draw their own conclusions about Cllr McAsh’s swift move from Labour leadership hopeful to the Green Party, after he didn’t get his own way. While he’s thinking about his own career, Southwark Labour are delivering for residents.” One wonders if he will stand as a Green candidate in Goose Green.
    • No doubt if he determines to stand for a ward he will enlighten us - at least his track record is one of using this site to communicate (inter alia). I would suspect that (1) his personal views on traffic will have remained consistent but that (2) his views on local democracy and proper consultation will have as well.
    • Yes, but I want to know where he stands on all this stuff now. My feeling is it won't be any different from Labour?
