Part-time weekend child care - 7 weeks

Recommended Posts

Hi, I'm looking for a nanny/babysitter who's available to work approximately six hours over the weekend - three hours Saturday, three hours on Sunday. Hours very flexible but ideally we'd book one morning and one afternoon slot.

I have a three year old son, who's very easy-going and cheerful, but I am struggling with a difficult third trimester of pregnancy and a husband who's away during the week and needs to work for much of the weekends. We just need another pair of hands so I can rest up a bit before Number 2 arrives at the start of October!

We live on Camberwell New Road, SE5. We're looking for someone who's happy to take the toddler to the park, and do some fun activities at home. I'll be around to help out if necessary. Rates negotiable according to experience.

    • You have to use the right extinguisher for the type of fire - water/foam not to be used for live electrical fires for example. A quick Google says powder extinguishers can be used on the most different types of fire. In a public/commercial setting fire extinguishers have to be serviced every year. Not sure the recommendation for residential ones, but when you buy extinguishers and fire blankets check if there's an expiry date.
    • Thanks, yes I need the y piece for the water to go to IN both washing machine AND the dishwasher but the y piece doesn’t fit on the B yellow pipe…  I’m not worried about the waste pipe for now, I’m just concerned about the supply to get water in to both appliances
    • Not sure about the word “input” - do you mean outflow / waste ? Red figure A looks like the sink overflow. If B is the washing machine outflow then that’s where you want your Y fitting. ( assuming all above conjecture is correct). I’d put a cap on that chrome threaded dead connection too. Don’t just rely on the valve. It all looks a bit of a mess TBH 🫣.
