Oh quite high, I think about 12ft+. No greenhouse - no garden as such just a sunny area of concrete roof/patio festooned with containers - yet still picking ripe tomatoes, chilli peppers, marjoram and thyme etc. and surrounded by tall sunflowers, nasturtiums, lobelia, violets and petunias - all about to die off I'm sure and yet they keep on going.

Or have I just confused standards with altitude?

That's what comes of posters pronouncing from their high horses... or should that be tall horses?

What else is your garden used for? We have a large garden but our two sons are under the impression it is a football pitch - the seven-a-side goals their dad put up have only encouraged that. Anyway, because the football pitch takes up most of the garden we opted for a smallish first greenhouse and most importantly went for metal frame and acrylic windows - not as asthetically pleasing as I wanted (I was considering wooden frame with real glass windows) but very very sturdy and has withstood direct hits from footballs on more times than I care to remember.

    • Perhaps local Labour Party representatives could make a donation in future? They have more than enough to spend on weekly unsolicited junk mail, I don't know why... it's not like the Labour Party's going anywhere. NCR & LL looks very sad.
    • They seem to be having an identity crisis. SD Cafe? Aroma Lab Coffee? Either way, I look forward to the day they have a storefront. I live just around the corner & walk past every day, & I'm still not entirely sure what it's meant to be. For that reason, I'm not surprised if it often gets overlooked by passersby. Prior to all of this, it was Oriental Star - a wonderful Chinese takeout run by lovely people, & we were genuinely sad to see it go. It took a long time to find anything in this area that came close, & honestly, I still don't think we quite have.
