I'm after some recommendations for an alarm clock for our kids - they are moving into a shared room and have specifically requested an alarm clock!

We don't really need a "sleep training" type clock, as they're pretty good in that respect. What we do want is something with a night light function, an alarm, and (perhaps asking too much) both digital and analogue options.

I've had a look at the Gro clock which I know comes highly recommended, but to me it seems a bit babyish and caters more towards teaching kids to stay in bed? Our children are nearly 5 and 3.5.

Any suggestions?

Thanks.

The monkey clock we have does all that you ask - but it is a bit babyish maybe and sleep trainer like (monkey awake/asleep). And I would totally steer clear of it - it TICKS, loudly. It was banished after only one night by Z (after he spent all night letting me know that monkey was STILL asleep).

    • ok - Jeremy himself is against mandatory vaccines. Is he as extreme as his brother? No? Is it fair to discuss how the overall view of that family would inform Jeremy's response to the pandemic? I would argue very much so

    • It's not fair to hold Corbyn's brother's views against him when he has never explicitly or implicitly endorsed them. And he has enough of his own terrible positions to criticise anyway.
    • Completely unacceptable. They need to fund a proper, permanent park warden presence or this sort of behaviour will get worse. Parks should be safe for all to enjoy and being assaulted and threatened by teenage gangs may put more vulnerable people off using the park altogether. If they are prepared to threaten to hurt an animal then where might it lead? Sorry Alice but we'll have to disagree on this one. This does not sound like kids just being silly; lobbing water bombs at each other is one thing, but targeting complete strangers out for a walk and minding their own business and trying to kick their dog is, in my view, no laughing matter. A group of 15 teenagers can be intimidating, not to everyone but for some it can be, especially if their behaviour is aggressive.
