Available from the 2nd September, in a Victorian modernised house-share, a very quiet bedroom with a double bed and a large wardrobe.

This 3 bedroom house has a fully furnished sitting room, a shared study, a large fully fitted kitchen with dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, a bathroom with a bath/shower, a basement with a tumble dryer and lots of storage and a rear garden with table and chairs.

The house would be shared with 2 people (a 34 years old sound engineer/touring technicien and a 35 years old journalist).

The house is a 10 mn walk to Camberwell Green, a 15 mn walk to Peckham Rye and Denmark Hill train stations. Great transport by bus : 343,136,12,171,176,36,436,345, 185,63...

Burgess Park is on the doorstep - great shopping facilities at the end of the road (Tesco express, dry cleaner, pubs and restaurants).

I am looking for a tidy professional and preferably for a long term stay.

Rent is ?700/month + around ?100 each for bills to be shared between the 3 people (council tax, internet, TV licence, gas, electricity, water and cleaner).

If interested in viewing the room, please get in touch.

I look forward to hearing from you.

    • It was my understanding that Jeremy Corbyn was embarrassed by his brother and had distanced himself from his brother's views. I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong. Why on earth should "the overall view of that family inform Jeremy's response to the pandemic"? What exactly are you basing that assumption on?
    • I guess it's best to do what most Brits do these days, keep your head down and say nothing! although that's probably why this country is in the mess it is today!  😞
    • @Dulwichway Absolutely - I'm in no way trying to say that what happened was life-changing. I've encountered way worse situations and think of myself as pretty tough, which is why I took them on and got pelted. I suppose I'm just taken aback because the park always seemed so safe. But the stats I've just posted contradict that.   I suppose the one of the points of this thread is to point out that they weren't just numpty youths - I'd bet money on some of them being involved in more serious criminality. And to tell others to be vigilant.
    • Still, I guess it could be a lot worse than water being thrown at you by these numpty youths during these warmer times? thankfully it wasn't the more dangerous mugging type youths that crossed your path waving knifes and guns in your face!  just a thought? hopefully these muppets will get sorted by plod soon, but don't hold your breath.
