Stu
Long story but we bought this sidetable:https://www.atkinandthyme.co.uk/furniture/deco-sideboard.htmlHad an issue with the marble top and delivery and ended up with an additional one with a thin crack per the pictures. We were thinking of doing something interesting with it but will probably not get the time and someone else is probably better skilled than us to do it. Let us know if you're interested. ?100 Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/201028-lovely-marble-and-brass-inlaid-top-with-thin-crack/ Share on other sites

Stu
I didn't see this previously. We had a dispute with the company delivering it as they kept delivering them with cracks but were trying to suggest it was something at our end which obviously it couldn't be! In the end we had to accept a sub-standard piece of furniture (the "accepted" work top also has a crack in it) after a lot of hassle which was pretty annoying so not really for free no... Given it is a nice piece of marble and brass inlay and someone creative could do something impressive with it I was checking whether anyone was interested to buy it or make an offer. Enjoy lurking on the EDF!
