Calling all two week old babies!

Right, this is going to sound a bit strange - I work on ITV Daybreak and next Wednesday we are featuring the biggest baby to be born in the UK in 20 years, weighing in at a whopping 13lb 11oz (with just a bit of gas and air!)

So, to illustrate just how big baby Zachary is we wanted to compare him to a normal sized baby (around the 7.5 lb mark) born around the same time (7th Oct)


So does anyone fancy coming onto the Daybreak sofa (on the Southbank) to show off their little cherub?


There's nothing in it for you particularly apart from 15 mins of fame (well, a bit less) and getting to maybe see some famous faces milling around ITV.


We will sort your transport for you...and if you know any friends or family from further afield than East D who might fancy it please let me know too.

      Is anyone else having problems trying to register their car for a residents LTN permit for upland road as the council web site only seems to want to allow blue badge holders a permit .

      Posted around 12 cards 2 weeks prior to 24th December. Had some responses so know people have received them. Had about 20 cards - mixture of hand delivered and via post. After years of 'nagging' by myself and our daughters, we may have cured hubby of spending £4 plus on individual cards for our immediate family  ( when you have 12 immediate family it costs a bomb) Also as the girls state, they get put in the recycling bad at beginning of January regardless of cost.

      There was a LETS scheme in ED and it ran for a couple of years or so. Trying to remember when it was pre 2000?  A couple of friends joined it, one did baby sitting for exchange for ironing, the other did small painting jobs or simple gardening. There was a set criteria regarding credits,
