Need someone to change an oven light

Thanks all. Neffs advice is to pay them ?130 to change it so my last resort. praps i'll try the door thing though theres no problem getting purchase. It turns an inch then just sticks .. and no amount of heating the oven/tapping with a hammer/any other youtube suggestions seem to shift it further.

Props I'll just live without a light in the oven!

I managed to remove the glass cover.

First I checked the cost and availability of a replacement.

I then carefully tapped it using a piece of softwood and a mallet, increasing the size of the whack until it moved.

(When I replaced it I made sure it was still loose when screwed in)

    • ...and so, 4 years on from the "dramatic planning meeting" that approved the "meganursery", how has it all worked out in reality? The building looks nice from the outside - but I don't know anything more. Did either of the nursery businesses on EDG fail because there was no demand for nursery places in East Dulwich? Did Carmageddon on East Dulwich Grove get worse? Were pre-COVID work patterns abandoned forever (lol)? Were some of the concerns expressed in opposition to the planning application a teensy bit overblown...? https://southwarknews.co.uk/area/southwark/mega-nursery-approved-amid-dramatic-planning-meeting/

    • I would recommend Coopers bakehouse, which offer a similar service to B&C but it’s just focussed on really good bread, decent prices and keeps for ages (also freezes well).  Delivered by bike.
