Can't see photo links

It says you can't link to photos in this forums from outside forum yet I'm logged in . Can anyone advise please

I've just reported to admin directly. It looks like a system thing. I get "Linking to files in this forum is not allowed from outside the forum." on all attached links I try.

Same as me, I just worded it wrong lol

I'm wondering how it's come about. If it's the result of a local system tweak or change I'd be hopeful that it can be easily reversed. I hope that's the case.
