Hi

My 8 month old seems to try and strain to lie on her side at night but ends up twisted over and wakes herself up. Any idea on how I could prop her, have tried a rolledup blanket but she just flops back over and is then uncomfortable lying on top of it so wakes up! (plus not keen on leaving a blanket loose in the cot).

Tried and tested methods if you have any please!

Thanks

Jenny

My daughter was the same at this age and I bought a snoozzz sleep wrap (from babyreflux.co.uk) which did the trick. We only used it for about a month as she soon got much better at getting herself in the position she wanted to (I only put her in it at night, not for naps).

Hi,

You could also try bolster cushions either side of her so keeping her in position like this one .

And you dont have the worry of loose blankets, I know how to make your own if you would like to PM me.

Thanks

    • That's great to know. But when you compare it to the roughly  34,000 that Cat Protection rehome per year it does make you scratch your head a bit doesn't it..?

Doesn't say clearly that it tried to bite you , but instead implies that you had the impression, right or wrong that it wanted to nip you.  unless you are clear others will read it how you write it.  As for being a jobsworth, what a quaint old expression, haven't heard that for a long while.
    • Crook locks can be sawn through, or the steering wheel to which it is attached, I know to my own cost. The safest additional security measure is what's called a ghost immobiliser, which cannot be traced through the car's electronics, meaning it is difficult to bypass. They cost a bomb however.
