Hi all,

We've lost our lad's beloved jellycat grey mouse.I Think I'm more upset about it than anyone else but anyway just in case it's been spotted...

It could have been in ED between HSBC and ED train station.

But then we got a train to Beckenham Junction and back between 3.30 and 6pm - just in case anyone goes that way daily, saw it on a train tonight, that sort of thing??

Here's hoping...

Cheers.

I saw him! He said hi and he was hanging out on the wierdy fold-out table that is chaned to the lamp-post outside the new optometrists - but this was two days ago i think???

He did have a small red spotted handkerchief tied to a stick slung over his shoulder and said that he was off to find his destiny and that he had had a great time with you guys...

Thanks for that Designerjooles. I have to say my heart skipped a beat when I read you'd seen him because I'd dearly love to get him back.

But I'll try to keep my sense of humour, I do know he's just a soft toy and hope that he has gone off for new adventures!!

Oh no! That's not quite what i meant - I would be very sad ifwe lost our boys hippo - as would he! I anthropomorphises everything so was hoping that if you'd known he was off on a journey it might make you smile... Or, you could also pop into the optometrists and see if anyone took him in there? ;)

    • Generally speaking, some medium size market towns and lesser cities always seem more  prone to random violence and aggro generally than anywhere I’ve been in London
    • Familiarity is important, I lived near Brixton in the old days and was fairly comfortable, but for many years avoided Peckham.  That has reversed in the last 15 years.   I recall around Dalston and the A10 and burned out cars.  Now super trendy. Pub violence has largely gone but that was groups of men getting drunk on Saturday night and brawling.  Similarly little football violence, East Dulwich/West Peckham was edgy last century.
    • ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️   Rod comes highly recommended. He recently completed a challenging job in my garden, fox-proofing an outhouse using a large amount of hardcore and slate. The work involved a great deal of effort, but Rod handled it with professionalism and care from start to finish.   He specialises in working with stone, and it really shows in the quality of his work. He is also an incredibly hard worker, tackling the project with determination and skill. Throughout, he was responsive and reliable, always keeping me updated and communicating clearly.   I really appreciated the practical advice he offered along the way, which showed both his experience and his commitment to doing the job properly. On top of all that, his pricing was very reasonable, and he was an absolute pleasure to deal with.   If you’re looking for someone trustworthy, hardworking, and knowledgeable, Rod is an excellent choice. His number is 07739180197
