ED/Peckham writing spots

Can anyone recommend local spots that are good for getting some writing done? Day job is home based, so looking for somewhere external to go for personal/freelance writing. Preferably in the evenings but day time could also work.

Not really fussy about type of place (cafe, library etc) though not in a position to hire a desk or anything, so would need to be somewhere public and "free" (drinks/snacks excluded). Mainly interested in somewhere with a nice vibe and decent wifi. Any suggestions would be most welcome :)

    • We're looking for a second hand / ex display kitchen to install late November / early December. If anyone is renovating / getting a new kitchen in the next month and looking to sell on or get rid of their old units and appliances please do get in touch. Many thanks

We gave Kalms to the mutt, thanks to Angelina's advice. It's hard to tell after just one night if they work, but I'll definitely try them again, as I'm sure a few people still have a few bangers left over.  Did anyone see the coverage of the scenes in Liverpool and Birmingham? I wonder if this might lead councils to finally clamp down on sales.
    • Yes heard a whisper a few months ago.had many mots and services there. .heard dels will be replaced with a house?
    • Ah, that's a shame. Best wishes to them. They nursed my old 19-year-old Peugeot through many an MOT and were always friendly and helpful.
