I met Myles last week and would thoroughly recommend him as a knowledgeable, reliable and very organised and skilled electrician.

Myles came at short notice to deal with electrical difficulties relating to a newly installed shower. He fully explained the problems and his recommended course of action. He made temporary repairs and is returning shortly to thoroughly deal with the problems - he's delayed by me as I'd like him to carry out other electrical work while he's here and the parts needed haven't arrived with me yet!

Myles was courteous, a pleasure to deal with and really thoughtful in the way he kept in touch about when he would carry out the work. I have already recommended him to friends!

I'd like to add my recommendation for Myles. He came round at short notice to carry out a couple of small jobs. He was punctual, efficient, and very fast. He was also incredibly courteous and charged only his minimum call out fee, which was extremely reasonable. I wouldn't hesitate to use him again.

    • A new roadmap (surely railmap?!) for rail accessibility has been published: https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/accessible-railways-roadmap It says "approximately 56% of stations and around 66% of the 1.3 billion journeys that take place on the network have step-free access to platforms...  "£373 million has been committed over the next 5 years to deliver Access for All projects, providing step-free access from station entrances to and between platforms, alongside other essential accessibility upgrades. These works, together, will increase the number of step-free stations across Great Britain from 56% to 58%. "This improvement will make travel easier with step-free access available at stations covering an increased share of total rail journeys – from 66% up to 71%" Don't know what that means for us here: upgrading Peckham Rye would cover a lot of rail journeys but the cost has no doubt increased from the £40m figure previously quoted. So that would eat into a lot of the funding.
