1x Flappy the Elephant animated plush has body movement, when you press his left foot his ears move to play peek-a-boo with you which is sure to keep your child entertained, if you press his right foot he plays the song ''Do Your Ears Hang Low'' in a cute child's voice. 3 AA batteries are included. This item is surface washable, suitable from 10 months and is CE marked. Height: 30.5cm


1x GUND combined one of baby's favourite games with a soft and adorable animated soft toy. Peek-A-Boo Bear features a moveable mouth and arms, as well as a satin-accented blanket that provides additional tactile sensation. At the push of a button, the bear recites one of six different phrases and hides behind a blanket before popping back out to delight baby with an interactive game of peek-a-boo.     • But all those examples sell a wide variety of things,  and mostly they are well spread out along Lordship Lane. These two shops both sell one very specific thing, albeit in different flavours, and are just across the road from each other. I don't think you can compare the distribution of shops in Roman times to the distribution of shops in Lordship Lane in the twenty first century. Well, you can, but it doesn't feel very appropriate. Haa anybody asked the first shop how they feel? Are they happy about the "healthy competition" ?

    • Ha! After I posted this, I thought of lots more examples. Screwfix and the hardware store? Mrs Robinson and Jumping Bean? Chemists, plant shops, hairdressers...  the list goes on... it's good to have healthy competition  Ooooh! Two cheese shops
    • You've got a point.  Thinking Leyland and Screwfix too but this felt different.
