Mind shop

Recommended Posts

I had a 'right sort out' and took 7 really nice jackets, hardly worn, dry cleaned, into the Mind shop.

The young lady behind the desk said I was too late as they could not accept any more donations after (3.15?)

I cannot honestly remember the time, anyway I was perhaps 15 minutes too late.

The shop had enough donations apparently and didn't need any more, instructions from the manager.

It isn't as though they have a shop full of quality clothes, a shame with so many generous donations

and donators here in ED, and alternative charity shops.

I had walked, the bag I thought I could manage became heavier and heavier as a burden, now in Shelter,

where they were well received although possibly parading around ED now, I hope so.

Thats sad to hear. I went in the Mind shop and stock looked really tatty and it smelt.

I went in Shelter and thought the stock really overpriced tbh.

I try and give to hospice shops as I think the items are more fairly priced and accessible to those who are in need.

also I favour local hospices as the big charities have bigger resources for fundraising and more management on higher wages,

    • Hi all, we have noticed we have penetrating damp in our home. Has anyone worked with good contractors before that are able to help resolve the issue? Any advice would also be great!  Thanks, Emilie

I have used his services on several occasions now and I am always impressed by 1) the speed of his response,  2) his honest pricing,  3) the quality of his interventions.  I had a washing machine crisis the other day where my old appliance started leaking badly and into the flat below.  Aria can within an hour of my call and sorted the whole thing immediately.  Impressive! Highly recommended!    Posted Thursday at 17:56 a.
