SHORT-TERM room in Peckham / East Dulwich

Hello,

I'm looking for a temporary flatmate towards the end of the year, 6 weeks from 20 November ? 2 January.

?250 per week (includes all bills)

The flat is a spacious first-floor 2-bed situated at the quiet end of Peckham, between Bellenden Road and Lordship Lane (East Dulwich). It has a bright open-plan kitchen and living room, 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom/toilet, and a shared patio and garage. Your room is bright, large, comes fully furnished (fitted wardrobe, shelves, drawers and boxes), is well-heated, and the window (overlooking the quiet back of the house) is double glazed!

It is located a 10?15 min walk to Peckham Rye station and 5?10 min to East Dulwich station, with plenty of buses minutes away. Tons of amenities nearby: cafes, bars, clubs, restaurants, shops and supermarkets.

Your rent includes all bills, fiber broadband, a cleaner and all essential household equipment (loo rolls, cleaning products, etc).

You?ll be living with myself, a 29 yr old graphic designer, while my housemate is away for 6 weeks. I'm super chilled and looking for someone who is respectful of our space. I spend a fair amount of time in the flat or around the area, as I've been local for a few years and work nearby.

Ideal for professionals or students who are in between houses. We're looking for someone who can cover the whole period of time, but will consider others if no one can. You will be required to pay upfront.

Please get in touch if you would like to have a look around one evening.

Cheers!

Ian

    • Ha! After I posted this, I thought of lots more examples. Screwfix and the hardware store? Mrs Robinson and Jumping Bean? Chemists, plant shops, hairdressers...  the list goes on... it's good to have healthy competition  Ooooh! Two cheese shops
    • You've got a point.  Thinking Leyland and Screwfix too but this felt different.
    • Moving into a new place and need both a wardrobe and a chest of drawers, ideally collection Friday. Thanks!
    • Lordship Lane has two dry cleaners, three pizza places and an Italian selling pizza, two burger places, three bakeries, two hardware (ish, I'm thinking AJ Farmer here), God knows how many coffee and charity shops, two Italians, three nail salons, five wine shops... Where was the abject outrage when Dynamic Vines opened up literally next door to Cave de Bruno? But I don't see his customers decamped next door - no, those stalwarts are still out in force every night.  In Roman times all businesses were clustered by product. It's what kept prices down. Same in any market you go to abroad, they're all selling the same things next to each other.  Why is everyone being so hard on this new place? It's called healthy competition - you can't curtail the expansion of your business on the basis you that might hurt someone else's.
