Loren
I thought I'd take advantage of this thread to ask if anybody could recommend a good place for 3 birds roast. It's my first Xmas in the UK and I'd like to try something traditional. I've asked the butcher in front of the Plough but he doesn't want to put any stuffing in it because he says there is not enough space for stuffing but when I look on the internet there is sausage meat between the layers and stuffing inside (apple & apricot, cranberry etc). What do you reckon? Thanks Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/20638-advise-neededcapon-for-x-mas/page/2/#findComment-506836 Share on other sites

What do you reckon? ThanksI saw such a thing in William Rose( stuffed and unstuffed )About ?40-50 odd I think. Some butchers are concerned that stuffing makes the bird harder to cook/easier to poison you.Do buy a cheap-ish digital meat thermometer, to make sure the internal temp gets to 75+ degrees.NETTE(tu) Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/20638-advise-neededcapon-for-x-mas/page/2/#findComment-506850 Share on other sites
